An intermediate level course extending the knowledge & skills acquired in ESD 230 - PC CAD II in the preparation of mechanical drawings, using CAD software, of energy related systems for buildings and industrial processes. Includes piping system layouts for hydronic heating & cooling systems, steam distribution & condensate systems, refrigerant piping, compressed air and fuel distribution systems, and double line duct system layouts with diffusion. The student will also be introduced to the coordination of mechanical designs with related architectural, structural and electrical drawings.
