Further development of assessment skills introduced in Preclinical Theory (DTL 160) and Preclinical Practice (DTL 120) will be emphasized. The dental hygiene process as applied to the clinical area is a major focus including the elements of assessment, dental hygiene diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
