During Dental Radiography II students will learn the correct techniques for operation of dental radiographic equipment to include proper safety precautions and quality assurance guidelines as detailed in safety code 30. They will become skilled at producing diagnostic quality intraoral and extraoral radiographs on clients, and will become proficient at processing, normal anatomy and film mounting as well as trouble shooting radiographic pitfalls on all dental radiographs. Included will be knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of being a dental radiographer to include professional and ethical conduct, client interactions and client education.
