Orofacial Anatomy And General Physiology

This course introduces students to the anatomy of the oral cavity, primary and permanent dentition, skeletal and muscular orofacial anatomy, including the nerve and vascular supply to the region. The major body systems that will be discussed include the skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, reproductive, circulatory, digestive, respiratory, lymphatic, and urinary systems. Emphasis will be placed on dental implications from all the body systems.
