This course introduces the student to common wood floor, wall and roof frame systems, their components and the special function each has within the total building structure. The student will plan, lay out and construct exterior and interior walls with door and window openings on a floor joist base and a stick built gable style roof system using rafters and ridge boards for a typical residential construction project.
