This course is a study of the air conditioning systems. Included in the study are the components of an air conditioning system, operation of A/C systems including full electronic climate control. Reefer systems will also be explored. ODP (Ozone Depletion Prevention) protocols are extremely important to the protection of the environment and the regulations shall be strictly enforced. Studies progress from an overview and operational principles to specific functions of electronic control system elements and related components. Laboratory sessions involve inspection, diagnosis, servicing and repair of climate control systems. Regulatory requirements will also be discussed.
