Students explore the 3D modeling process to create three-dimensional surfaces using a computer. The students learn the difference between nurbs, polygons, and subdivision, and how to use the techniques effectively and efficiently. The unique benefits of each modeling technique is studied. Students create characters and environments of a scene using one or more modeling tool. This course is design to develop the basic modeling skill needed to setup a scene for texturing and animation.
