Today, the Windsor Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) declared an outbreak in one program affecting two different semesters at St. Clair College at the South Windsor Campus.
This outbreak has been linked to an exposure in two cohorts.
The health and safety of our students are of paramount concern to St. Clair College. Following consultations with local and provincial public health experts, St. Clair College will require staff, faculty, students, contractors and campus visitors to be fully vaccinated this Fall.
One St. Clair College staff member has tested positive for COVID-19 at the Main Campus in South Windsor.
The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit has identified a single case of a student with COVID-19 at St. Clair College, affecting a class the student attended on January 20, 2021.
St. Clair College is working with the Public Health Unit as they investigate the details and assess the level of risk.
