A project that involved a three-way partnership between St. Clair College, Longterm Technology Services Inc., a technology-based company in London, and the mold making industry has resulted in a win for all three parties.

The project involved computer-aided design (CAD) models, which are used in the mold industry in order to design and visualize parts prior to manufacturing.

St. Clair College has received a generous donation of nearly $19,000 from AIS Technologies Group Inc. to support research and development projects and fund three scholarships.

When three University of Windsor students hit a snag in their development of an environmentally-friendly lawnmower - the featured product at their startup company Aviot Industries - they came to St. Clair College for a solution.

The tricky part is the robot must put two yellow, two red and two orange peppers in each bag destined for a grocery store shelf.
