A referendum vote is underway regarding the Saints Bus Pass and associated student fees for future use of the Transit Windsor bus system.

The Student Representative Council (SRC) has re-negotiated the continuation of the Saints Bus Pass for a three-year renewal term, effective Sept. 1, 2025, to Aug. 31, 2028, with the option for two additional one-year extensions.

The referendum vote will accompany the SRC, TSI and SSAA Executive Elections from Feb. 24 until Feb. 28, 2025.

The fee is set to increase, from the inception of the Bus Pass in 2022 due to demand of the service, but the SRC wants to hear from students to determine whether this is a service students want provided, at the negotiated and discounted rate.

These are 'universal' passes which do not restrict ridership of transportation to and from school. This pass can be used on any day, at any time. Please note that Tunnel service and the LTW 42 service is excluded. The new Amherstburg route 605 and LaSalle 25 is included.
