St. Clair College's Pharmacy Technician students recently hosted 'Pharmacy Connections' - an event bringing together registered pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and students eager to learn more about the profession.
First- and second-year pharmacy technician students gathered to hear from a panel of experienced registered pharmacy technicians who shared valuable insights into the profession and offered firsthand perspectives on career pathways and workplace realities.
The question-and-answer session that followed was filled with enthusiasm, as students engaged with the panelists on everything from daily responsibilities to professional growth opportunities.
Following the panel, students had the unique chance to connect directly with pharmacists representing both retail and hospital settings, gaining critical insights into different work environments, and learning about job prospects post-graduation.
These conversations opened doors and encouraged students to envision their futures, creating lasting connections that could lead to future employment.
The Pharmacy Connections event will continue to be a cornerstone in preparing St. Clair's students for success in the dynamic field of pharmacy.
