The Summoning Takes Over St. Clair College on July 20
Windsor’s first-ever Collectors and Esports Convention, The Summoning, is set to captivate audiences at St. Clair College on July 20. This landmark event promises an extraordinary experience for collectors and competitors alike, featuring organized tournaments with substantial prize pools, interactive entertainment, and a diverse array of collectible vendors. This family-friendly event ensures unforgettable memories for all attendees.
The Summoning is the result of a unique partnership between St. Clair College’s esports program, the St. Clair Saints, The CG Realm, and Hidden Trail Experiences. “Our mission is to unite like-minded communities under one roof,” said Shaun Byrne, Esports Director at St. Clair College. “From gaming and esports to trading card games, board games, and collectibles, The Summoning offers attendees an immersive and engaging experience.”
Event Highlights:
- Vendor Hall and Creative Lane: Dozens of vendors showcasing a wide range of collectibles and gaming merchandise.
- Trading Card Games: Opportunities to trade, sell, buy, and compete in Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Flesh and Blood, Warhammer 40K, and Lorcana.
- Esports Tournaments: Featuring a $2,000 VALORANT tournament, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Melee competitions, and various fighting games.
- Community-Built Experience: Supported by St. Clair Saints, The CG Realm, Hidden Trail, F&C House of Cards, Tabletop Bellhop, Windsor Corn Hole, All Tapped Out Gaming, Total Play, The Upper Hand, Tabletop Renaissance, St. Clair SRC, St. Clair College, and more.
Registration Information:
- Pre-Registration Admission: $10
- Door Admission: $15
- Children 10 and Under: Free entry
- Additional Fees: TCG tournaments, esports tournaments, and cornhole will have additional fees onsite. Open gaming tournaments are free to enter with General Admission.
