We are delighted to extend an invitation to the upcoming 3rd Annual St. Clair College and University of Windsor Alumni and Student Pow Wow event, a celebration of Indigenous culture and heritage in Windsor. This vibrant gathering promises an array of traditional music, dance, and community festivities.

Location: Sportsplex, St. Clair College Windsor Campus (2000 Talbot Rd, Windsor, ON N9G 2E4)
Hosts: The St. Clair College's Indigenous Student Services and University of Windsor Aboriginal Education Centre

Full Schedule of Events:

  • May 9th at 7pm - special guest performance by Western Canadian Music Award for R&B Artist of the Year, Sebastian Gaskin
  • May 10th at 10:30 am – Student Pow Wow
  • May 10th at 6:00pm – Traditional Pow Wow open to the public
  • May 11th at 12noon - Traditional Pow Wow open to the public followed by a community feast at 4pm

  • Traditional drumming and dance performances
  • A showcase of Indigenous crafts and cuisine
  • Live music from one of Canada's top Indigenous artists

We invite you to immerse yourself in the rich traditions of Indigenous cultures. Your coverage will contribute to fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of the diverse Indigenous communities in our region.
