Web Server Administration II

This course focuses on distributed computing with emphasis on Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks(WAN), and using a GUI Network Operating System to manage an environment. Students gain theoretical and practical experience in the administration and configuration of current web products from Windows Workstation and Server operating systems and cloud computing options (i.e. Azure and AWS). Topics covered include: installation Windows Server operating system and administering its components such as IIS, ASP.NET, MS SQL. The course also covers setting up and administrating a web server, security, users, database, and more.
