Technology And The Workplace

This course covers the impact of technology on the workplace environment. We will examine the issues related to the Manufacturing Sector providing an historical manufacturing perspective in a global economy. Through a variety of sources, such as the library, internet, professional associations and trade literature, students will develop their skills in researching a topic and preparing written reports. Students are required to deliver a formal oral presentation and participation and discussion of other's presentations will be expected. This will support the development of critical thinking and communication skills.
