This course seeks to emphasize in a simulated workshop setting, aspects of precision in machining, fitting and assembling Die components. In the process, applications of EDM, Pantograph and jig boring machine utility will be undertaken as applicable. Applying theory from the co-requisite course, TM 309, the student will perform special machining operations to produce selected dies. Field trips provide an opportunity for students to relate observed industrial standards to their shop performance.
