Gerontology Field Work Sem. II

Course content builds on knowledge acquired in previous coursework. Topics explored help students prepare for a successful internship learning experience. Key themes emphasize placement expectations and student responsibilities, learning goals and contracts, core SSW skills, values and ethics, MTCU standards, placement selection, self -awareness, conflict resolution, professional identity development, professionalism (knowledge, communication and conduct) and social justice.
