Clinical rotations allow students to gain practical experience in a variety of clinical settings with the goal of attaining the entry-to-practice competencies as defined by the National Competency Profile and listed in the Logbook of Clinical Competencies. Students are expected to progress from direct supervision to more independent practice in the defined skills as they complete each rotation assigned. Successful completion of the final two practica in the program is required in order to complete all the competencies. Each student may progress through the competencies in a different order based on their clinical placements during the practica.
