Applied Mechanical Ventilation - Lab II

This course continues student training in both invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation. In a simulated environment, students combine assessment and intervention skills and apply these to increasingly complex cases. Non-invasive ventilation, weaning, advanced modes, patient transport, apnea testing and other ventilation procedures and interventions are emphasized. Effective communication, professionalism, safe practice, and problem-solving skills are reinforced with every laboratory course.
