Students gain practical skills in the application of mechanical ventilation through hands on practice as they work through case studies and clinical scenarios. Focus is on initiation of invasive ventilation, analysis of ventilator data and waveforms and response to patient changes. Students will also be exposed to adjunctive equipment and noninvasive ventilatory devices.
