Principles Of Blood Analysis | St. Clair College
Course Code
RES306
Course Credit
3

Students receive a basic introduction to the technical aspects of blood analysis. Laboratory data is used to perform complex calculations of cardiopulmonary physiology. Emphasis is placed on blood gas analysis interpretation relative to patient physiology. The complex interrelationships of acid-base balance and fluid-electrolyte balance are studied in the context of the patient's pathophysiology, clinical status, and case management.
