Students do an overview of pathological processes with emphasis on cardiac disease and the interrelationship between pathophysiology and compensation mechanisms. Clinical manifestations, patient assessment and management of diseases common to circulatory, gastrointestinal, neurological, urinary, and immune systems are reviewed. The impact of the pathophysiology process upon the respiratory system is included with all of the disease conditions.
