Mechanical Ventilation I

This course introduces the student to the fundamentals of positive pressure mechanical ventilation including principles of operation, relevant terminology, definitions, and how patients and mechanical ventilators interact. Students have the opportunity to apply the technical aspects of mechanical ventilation in the laboratory environment.
