This course provides a basic introduction to the principles and techniques employed in respiratory therapy. The material presented covers a broad spectrum of topics that includes characteristics of medical gases, medical gas storage and delivery systems, medical gas equipment calibration techniques, and zone valves. Regulations and legislation are applied to relevant therapeutics and clinical practice. Online WHMIS certification will be completed.
