A course designed to give the student of Power Engineering Technology an understanding of the mechanisms of heat transfer, namely, conduction, convection and radiation. Problem solving topics will entail, but are not limited to heat transfer through fluid flow in pipes, heat exchangers, evaporators, superheaters, boilers and economizers.
