A review of electro technology, including DC circuits, conductors and insulators, electrochemistry, electromagnetic induction, AC theory; Power in AC circuits, DC generators and motors, AC alternators and motors. A study of transformers, control circuits, high voltage switching and protection including the operation of an electrical sub-station and motor control centers as required for Power engineers is included in this course.
