Hands-on study of routine maintenance activities encountered in a power plant, boiler and auxiliaries. Other aspects include safety and fire management, plant layout tracing, piping and instrument drawing applications, plant inventory, combustion analysis, and administrative functions related to running a power plant at the 3rd class level. CSA, and ASME codes as well as other relevant legislation to Power Engineering are referenced and adhered to.
