Applied Science - Chemistry, Metallurgy & Industrial Drawings | St. Clair College
Course Code
PSE413
Course Credit
3

The fundamental principles in the structure, formation and interaction of chemical compounds and the importance of chemistry in industrial operations are introduced. Concepts involving properties and applications of metallic and non-metallic materials as well as the mechanisms that cause corrosion and the methods used to monitor and control corrosion are studied with practical applications that occur in the power industry. Finally, engineered drawings used in industry including construction, P & ID drawings and bill of materials will be studied.
