Chemistry, Thermodynamics & Environmental Pollution Control | St. Clair College
Course Code
PSE124
Course Credit
2

An introduction to chemistry, thermodynamics, modes of heat transfer and environmental pollution control as it relates to power plants. Chemistry theories, applications and calculations related to the properties of matter, atomic structure, chemical bonding and stoichiometry will be examined in order to better understand environmental impacts, and pollution prevention strategies. Applications of steam tables and fundamentals of heat exchangers will be covered as well.
