The student will be introduced to basic medical terminology. The student will be introduced to basic action on the body of a variety of drug classifications including, analgesics, antibiotics; anti-inflammatory; antihistamines; anti-pyretics; cytotoxic, hormone replacement, contraceptives, oral hypoglycemics and insulin; and minerals and vitamins.
