The student will learn inventory management of medications, products, equipment, and devices complying with Federal and Provincial legislation and regulatory requirements that includes handling their receipt, storage, removal and documenting these activities. The student will apply inventory theory in practicing receiving, verifying and reconciling pharmacy orders using purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, rotating stock, restocking and monitoring expiry dates. The use of various electronic ordering devices will be explained and practiced.
