The student will develop a working knowledge of the various systems of metric, apothecary, and imperial weights and measures encountered in pharmacy. Basic math skills needed to calculate dosage quantities and prescription compounds is covered. Prescription pricing according to relevant legal requirements and business practices is demonstrated. Accuracy is stressed throughout this course.
