Upon successful completion the Pre Apprentice will be able to apply mathematical principles to trade-specific applications. Topics will include: whole numbers, fractions, decimals, ratios and proportions, percent, integers, simple linear equations, imperial and metric conversions, perimeter, volume and area, geometry, trigonometry. This course is equivalent to the Level 1 Calculations course taken by apprentices in the Metal Cutting Trades.
