In a simulated workshop setting, the students, continue to apply machining procedures, which are involved in producing a plastic injection mould or compression mould. Emphasis is placed upon the performance of more complex machining procedures; the identification and correction of defects in the mould sequence or structure; and the final assembly of selected moulds. Interpersonal conduct and safety practices for workshop settings continue to be an important element of the course.
