The practical application of skills and knowledge learned by the student will be demonstrated by producing quality joints, installation practice and the testing of such projects, the correct selection and safe use of tools and materials including hands-on training and showing acceptable joining methods of various materials including steel pipe, copper, cast iron and various plastics. Tolerances and code criteria are stressed.
