This course is a preparatory math course for students in protection and security programs. It is designed to aid students in obtaining a basic understanding of arithmetic, the S.I. Metric System, ratio and proportions, linear equations, plane geometry, syllogisms and figure series. Through the exploration of applications and analysis of problem solving methods, students will develop mathematical skills, without the use of a calculator.
