In this course students will develop the knowledge skills and ability to locate and apply sections of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario. Students will practice locating topics in the act and, regulations, will master the definitions required to interpret traffic laws and will apply the laws concerning police authorities, drivers licences, permits and rules of the road. Students will develop and practice the interpersonal strategies and procedures for dealing with vehicle stops.
