This course explores essential elements of health and physical fitness. While studying related concepts of cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength, endurance and flexibility, and principles of nutrition for health and weight control, students will engage in exercise programs developed in response to personalized assessment and goal setting. Students are encouraged to establish their own goals and plans for ongoing attention to their future fitness needs.
