A course given to expanding knowledge of the fundamental concepts of vocal technique through study, presentation, and singing., During the lecture portion, learners will continue the process begun in previous courses by the detailed study of acoustics, breathing, attack (vocal onset), registration and resonance. The study is intended to solidify and deepen the learners' knowledge of vocal structure and technique through study, research, reflection, presentation, and challenge. In the laboratory portion of the course, learners will demonstrate their growing knowledge of vocal technique by the presentation of singing exercises and song presentation.
