Exploration of the actor's voice continues as various methodologies are introduced. Dialects, accents are explored within the context of building a character. Students will incorporate the mechanics of breathing, relate to concepts of resonance, identify and manipulate their alignment for improved vocal production and support as well as utilize articulation techniques for increased clarity. In addition students will gain a preliminary knowledge of International Phonetic Alphabet (I.P.A.) toward accent play.
