An introduction to musical theory, the learner will investigate major and minor scales, harmonies, intervals, chords, chord progressions, tranpositions, and basic lyrical and melodic structure through analysis and deconstruction of classical and modern scores. Key-board labs will provide an opportunity for practical application of the theoretical concepts.
