This course is the second of two courses addressing the study of anatomy and physiology. Students examine the structure and function of the central nervous system and a number of sensory organs important to the practice of the OTA and PTA. followed by an in depth exploration of the concept of pain and pain measurement as it pertains to the role of the OTA & PTA. Finally, students outline of the structure and function of a number of body systems including the digestive, excretory, endocrine, integumentary, autoimmune and reproductive.
