Communication Skills For OTA/PTA

This course teaches the fundamentals of verbal, non-verbal and written forms of communication. An emphasis will be placed on the interpersonal communication skills between health care professionals and patient relationships. Written communication skills will be developed through research techniques, report writing and an understanding of professional ethical responsibilities.
