A continuation of OAM 325 Medical Typing and Theory Techniques I including medical typing speed development; typing theory review with applications in medical letters, tables, manuscripts from print and handwritten copy. The students will be introduced to medical typing techniques in the following areas:, punctuation, capitalization, number usage, metrics, medical symbols, abbreviations, word endings. Instruction and practice will be given in the proper typing formats for charts, consults, reports, operations, medical forms, prescriptions.
