Electrical/Electronics & Emissions Systems II | St. Clair College
Course Code
MVM235
Course Credit
2

This course is a study of the basic electrical and electronic principles and systems used on light duty transportation vehicles. Problem solving strategies involving electrical forces will be stressed as simple, series, parallel, series-parallel and parallel series circuits are commonplace in everyday applications of on/off road vehicles. Use of diagnostic electrical test equipment is a major component of this course. An in- depth study of cranking, charging and ignition systems will be discussed at length. Gasoline fuel injection fundamentals will be explored. The results of the combustive process, as well as the control of the gases produced are discussed in detail.
