A course designed to familiarize the student with the application of geometric and trigonometric principles to various types of problems encountered in the metal cutting trades. The emphasis will be on the use of problem solving skills to apply mathematical knowledge as well as blueprint reading knowledge to various prints to be able to manufacture the required parts. A brief introduction to three dimensional calculations will also be encountered.
