Network Security

This course will focus primarily on Network and Computer security, with continued emphasis on the Microsoft family of Network and Operating System products. Through the use of various security tools and software, students will gain a general understanding of the various security standards and methodologies employed within the computing industry. Detecting and protecting against intrusion, working with various encryption techniques, firewall and operating system security will constitute a majority of the course.
