This course will introduce the student to the tools and techniques used to build modern information systems. Emphasis will be placed upon modeling the system using use-cases and designing the system using a number of the standard Unified Modeling Language (UML) techniques. The concepts will be reinforced through the use of case studies, workshops and projects.
