A course designed to introduce the student to the relational database model and SQL programming. Students will learn the concepts surrounding the process of data normalization. Through the construction of ERDs (Entity Relation Diagramming), students practice basic data modeling techniques. Students will also be exposed to the various facets of the Structured Query Language including DDL and DML statements.
