This course is designed to provide the learner with an overview of the purpose and responsibilities of a supervisor in today's work environment. In response to changes at work, people may be called upon to serve as supervisors. Accountable for the work of their teams, all supervisors must assign, monitor and evaluate performance, and provide feedback, training, and support. This course provides a foundation for the learner to develop from a competent employee to an effective manager.
